Description:

UBS is looking for an Automation Solutions Developer to join their IB Operations Automation team in Hyderabad. This role is all about using modern automation tools and development best practices to simplify operations, improve efficiency, and deliver innovative solutions for investment banking processes.

Your Role:

• Build strong partnerships with Operations and Technology stakeholders to deliver effective technology solutions.
• Analyse business requirements and design automation-based technical solutions.
• Work with technology partners to ensure solutions are scalable and have clear exit strategies.
• Explore cognitive technologies like Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing.
• Continuously improve and simplify existing solutions while challenging the status quo.
• Coach team members and contribute to expanding automation capabilities within the global development community.

Your Team:

You’ll be part of the IB Operations Automation team, which focuses on identifying and implementing automation solutions that make day-to-day service delivery more efficient. The team manages end-to-end development, including design, coding, testing, and deployment of high-quality software.

Key Technical Skills:

RPA, Automation Anywhere, Alteryx, Power BI, Power Apps, Python, Git, GitLab, Machine Learning (optional), Flowable (optional), Debugging, Windows/Unix Development, Unit Testing

Requirements:

• 2–5 years of experience in automation and development roles.
• Certification and hands-on experience with RPA tools like Automation Anywhere or Alteryx.
• Strong knowledge of Python and other object-oriented languages.
• Familiarity with Power BI / Power Apps for building dashboards.
• Experience with version control systems like Git/GitLab.
• Ability to work across Windows and Unix environments.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Optional: Knowledge of Machine Learning (Re-infer) and workflow automation tools (Flowable).
• Ability to manage project deadlines, priorities, and deliverables independently.
• Passion for writing clean, efficient, and fault-tolerant code with proper testing.
